What to bring to practice?

Running shoes (spikes)
Weather-appropriate layers
Small snack for after practice (optional)
Watches (if applicable for distance runners)
Meet Arrive: Athletes must arrive at least 90mins before their schedule event. Athletes may be pulled from competing if they do not arrive early enough to warm up to avoid injury. Most meets run on a "Rolling Schedule" this means only the 1st event has a start time, and the remaining events will occur one after another until all have been completed.
Warm-ups: Team-led warm-up is required before competing. Athletes will need to be able to follow the warm up card or follow teammate instructions on occasions at meets.
Food: Many indoor meets will not allow parents to bring in outside food and drinks. You will need to send them with your athlete. Outdoor meets typically allow outside food and drinks at meets. Athletes MUST eat and hydrate before, throughout and after the meet for optimal performance and injury prevention. Sample meet snacks include: Fruits, veggies, sandwiches, beef sticks, pasta, water, Gatorade, protein bars, etc.
When to check-in for events: Athletes will need to check in for their events. Each meet will make announcements. All athletes should check in by 2nd call. They will typically only call 3 times max.
Double Check Before you leave: It is recommended to double check athletes have their jerseys, shoes, and anything else needed BEFORE leaving to head to the meets.
Additional meet specific information will be communicated prior to the meet via the team app.
